Boston, MA
There were several Boston library buildings prior to the current home. Each were outgrown in a matter of years. The current building was constructed in 1895. It is considered the “first outstanding example of Renaissance Beaux-Arts Classicism in America.” I enjoyed browsing the rooms and courtyard. However I would have loved to have taken the art and architecture tour. It has been canceled due to the elevator not working. https://www.bpl.org/central-library-points-of-interest/
